Oct 7 Update - Please note below that the Nov 21-29 shows have been cancelled. An opportunity to attend a course designing seminar and show in Europe has come available and I will now be away those weekends. Thank you and my apologies to those of you who indicated interest in attending. The Winterfest Series will start in early 2010. A Winterfest schedule has been set for some time but working on paperwork with facilities before going public with dates. Hopefully will be resolved very soon so dates may be announced.

Four Seasons Horse Shows has arranged again to rent Bronte Creek Equestrian's facilities to organize and host the new 2009 Fallfest Series, and Winterfest 2010 Series. The Winterfest 2009 shows were well received ending with record numbers, and lots of positive feedback.
This facility has one of the largest indoor arenas in the Greater Toronto area with a competition area measuring 94' x 222'. There is also a holding area for horses and spectator bleachers at the entry end. Facilities include a pine panelled, modern main ring with natural and electric lighting, plus a warm-up indoor ring connected by a short indoor chute. There is a heated snack bar room in close proximity. Show stalls are available but the number is limited, so book early if interested.
The Fallfest Series gives opportunities for horses and riders wanting/needing more experience in a low key format heading into the end of 2009, plus those:
- Taking advantage of the Fall months as some of the most enjoyable for riding/showing
- Just getting going, so why stop now
- Newer horses/partnerships, and young horses needing mileage
- Partnerships wanting to step up a level to get ready for bigger shows in 2010
- Renewing confidence at a lower level
- Needing indoor experience preparing for the Royal Winter Fair
- Too busy in the Summer months looking for showing opportunities now
- ... who needs a reason, just enjoy your self!
Hunter and Jumper shows are not EC sanctioned ie. passports, OEF, OHJA, THJA, and EC memberships are not required.
Dressage Shows are EC sanctioned as Bronze shows requiring a Bronze EC Sport license ($20) or higher, and OEF membership, but no horse passport is necessary. Use the "Links" page to the left to access these organizations if needing to join prior to the Fallfest Series.
